From June 16 to 19, 2025, a delegation from the Faculty of Foreign Languages at Ningbo University visited the University of Szczecin in Poland to strengthen academic exchange and explore cooperation in international education. The delegation included Vice Dean Professor Zhang Zhi, Deputy Director of the English Department Assoc. Professor Wang Yagang, and Deputy Director of the German Department Assoc. Professor Cai Daiyan.
Hosted by the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Szczecin, the delegation held meetings with representatives from the Institute of Linguistics and the Institute of Literature and New Media. Discussions focused on curriculum design in English and German studies, joint programs, and future collaborative projects. Professor Zhang introduced the structure, teaching teams, and key features of the English and German programs at Ningbo University.
The hosts provided a detailed overview of their academic programs and graduate outcomes, while also guiding the visitors through classrooms and faculty offices. Both sides expressed strong interest in developing joint courses, student exchanges, and organizing online lectures and academic activities.
The delegation also met with current Ningbo University students studying at Szczecin to learn about their academic experience and daily life abroad, offering insights for improving future student exchange programs.
This visit marked a meaningful step toward deeper cooperation between the two universities and laid a solid foundation for future international initiatives.
